The game simulates U.S. presidential elections and allows players to take on the role of campaign managers in an effort to help their candidate win the election. Players can simulate U.S. presidential elections, either historical (starting with 1960) or hypothetical future elections. The 1988 edition added the ability to simulate the then-upcoming 1988 election.

I bought this many years ago to play on my Apple IIc. More recently I found the DOS version online to run under DOSBox as well as the Apple version to play on an Apple II emulator. I had a lot of fun playing this game over the years. It plays a lot faster on my laptop under an emulator than it did on the old Apple IIc.
