Adventure meets archaeology in Pyramids of Egypt (1989), a classic maze platformer where you loot tombs, dodge snakes, and pray the ceiling doesn’t collapse on you. You play as an intrepid explorer armed with little more than reflexes and questionable judgment. The graphics are crude, but the tension is real—you’ll feel your palms sweat as you leap over pits of doom. It’s part Indiana Jones, part Lode Runner, and entirely unforgiving. Ancient curses may not be real, but this game will make you believe in them.
