Before management sims became a genre unto themselves, RAPCON tried its hand at turning air-traffic control into entertainment. Surprisingly, it works—if you enjoy stress. You’re placed in charge of guiding military aircraft safely through busy skies, juggling altitudes, headings, and near misses that will make you reconsider every flight you’ve ever taken. The interface is no-frills, but the challenge is real: one mistake and your pilots will be writing strongly worded letters from the afterlife. It’s not flashy, and absolutely no one will accuse it of being “fun” in a traditional sense, but there’s an undeniable thrill in keeping chaos at bay with nothing but your cursor and a prayer.
