I used to enjoy mucking around with this on an old PC. Didn't have the manual though, and kept getting stuck. Besides the great walk through provided here, you might also want to check out www.mocagh.org/miscgame/kobayashi-manual.pdf" for a complete intro and how to get your ship fixed so you can go trekking.
