Forget martial arts tournaments and fancy fighting arenas: Street Fighting Man takes its battles to the streets, where Nick has a rather personal score to settle. His girlfriend Xianna has been kidnapped by gangsters, and rescuing her means taking on the local criminal gangs one territory at a time. Players can choose between five American cities, including Denver, Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles and New York. Each location presents a different challenge, with more territories and tougher opposition as the difficulty increases. Developed by Sculptured Software, this 1989 action game offers a decidedly old-fashioned approach to urban crime fighting: find the bad guys and give them a good beating.
