Super Speed

Super Speed is a straightforward racing game built around one very important concept: going fast. Players take control of racing cars, compete on circuits, and attempt to finish ahead of the opposition while dealing with corners, traffic, and the occasional reminder that pressing the accelerator is not actually a complete racing strategy. The gameplay is arcade-oriented, with an emphasis on quick reactions and keeping momentum rather than detailed vehicle simulation. The graphics are firmly rooted in the mid-1990s PC era, but the action remains easy to understand and reasonably satisfying. Different races provide opportunities to improve your technique and shave time from previous attempts. Super Speed does not pretend to reinvent the racing genre, and that simplicity is part of its appeal. It delivers exactly what the title promises: cars, tracks, speed, and plenty of opportunities to discover that the fastest route around a corner is usually not the one that ends with your car facing backwards.
