Sword of Aragon

Sword of Aragon is a fantasy strategy RPG that combines exploration, character development, tactical combat, and kingdom management into one fairly ambitious package. Released in 1989, it casts the player as a ruler trying to rebuild a realm while dealing with monsters, rival forces, politics, and the occasional problem that cannot be solved simply by hitting it with a sword. You command troops, explore the countryside, recruit characters, and gradually develop your kingdom as the campaign unfolds.
