Treasure Trap

Treasure Trap is the sort of game that understands the basic appeal of a good dungeon: there are treasures to find, dangers to avoid, and absolutely no sensible reason to keep going once things start exploding. You guide your character through maze-like environments packed with traps, enemies, and puzzles, collecting valuables while trying not to become part of the scenery. The gameplay leans heavily on careful movement and observation, making patience considerably more useful than blind enthusiasm. Its presentation is unmistakably from the early 1990s, with straightforward visuals and an atmosphere that leaves plenty to the imagination. The challenge can be demanding, particularly when a seemingly harmless corridor turns out to have opinions about your continued survival. Still, that tension is part of the fun. Treasure Trap is an entertaining slice of classic computer adventuring for players who enjoy exploration with a healthy helping of danger.
