Uncharted waters 1 got this interesting glitch (or is it a feature).. was chasing down a pirate heading towards Venice ( each co-ordinate will be a new square on the world map ).... Reached Venice port (didn't enter)... pirate disappeared... thought he entered Venice... saw a ship near Genoa (yes can see it across the Italy peninsular)... Presto.. it the pirate I was chasing... WTF !?!?!?!?

I played both Uncharted Waters 1 and 2. I was able to finish the first one (first being a merchant, then an explorer, then arming myself, and ending with fleet powerful enough to defeat any enemy), but I was never able to finish UW 2 (due to lak of time, mostly.

I loved playing either UW 1 or UW2. I loved especially the wide open-sandbox nature of the games. Between the two, I prefer UW2, and the geography is better developed (the world map of UW1 has several glaring errors). The type of play is very similar. UW1 may be better for someone who want to start, as it is simpler than UW2

I really love this game. This is the last one of the series which was translated to english by Koei, the other ones are japanese only.
