Warheads is a turn-based artillery game in the grand tradition of blowing your friends to pieces with ridiculous weapons. You control a team of tiny, heavily armed soldiers and take turns launching rockets, grenades, and all manner of explosive nonsense across destructible landscapes. The real joy comes from experimenting with weapon trajectories, wind direction, and terrain destruction to pull off the perfect shot. Matches are quick, chaotic, and full of laughter, especially when a badly aimed missile comes straight back at you. It’s not about realism—it’s about spectacle, strategy, and spectacular self-destruction. A perfect game for anyone who enjoys tactical mayhem.
Played warhead as a demo when I was a kid. I used to buy a monthly french magazine in which there were four CD-ROMS with tons of demos and sharewares. Lost the CDs unfortunately :/
