Despite the baffling title (Book I – Chapter 2, yes, really), this is a charmingly earnest old-school RPG. Think “Ultima clone with extra oatmeal” and you're close. Yendorian Tales throws you into a world full of monsters, treasure, and dialogue boxes the size of a postcard. Combat is turn-based, exploration is grid-bound, and the story is filled with enough fantasy tropes to choke a beholder. But there’s heart here—and spreadsheets. Lots of spreadsheets. If your idea of a good time is fighting goblins while micromanaging your inventory like a medieval accountant, Yendor awaits.
