In The Tyrants of Thaine, the graphics get a modest upgrade, but the soul remains pure: this is RPG comfort food. You’re once again cast as the world's most overworked adventurer, battling evil regimes, looting crypts, and ignoring villagers who clearly need therapy. The UI is just clunky enough to feel authentic, and the plot delivers exactly what it promises—tyrants, plural, and no shortage of whining royalty. There's something oddly satisfying about leveling up here, as if you're restoring justice one awkward mouse click at a time. Worth it for the scroll-hoarding alone.
