Abandonware DOS title

Zork III: The Dungeon Master

The final part of the original trilogy, Zork III ditches treasure-hunting in favor of introspection, moral puzzles, and the looming presence of the Dungeon Master—basically the Gandalf of passive-aggressive mentorship. It’s a bit slower and more philosophical, but it still has its share of peril, ancient ruins, and, of course, a healthy disdain for players who don’t read carefully. The endgame is all about proving you’re wise, not just greedy. Think of it as Zork meets self-improvement seminar.
