Abandonware DOS title

Knights of Xentar

Knights of Xentar (1994, DOS) is what happens when anime meets adult humor and forgets to use its filter. This cheeky RPG follows a perverted hero on a quest filled with ridiculous dialogue, bawdy jokes, and surprisingly solid gameplay. Underneath the fanservice lies a classic turn-based system and a surprisingly witty translation. It’s juvenile, sure, but it knows it—and leans in hard. If you can laugh at yourself (and pixelated innuendo), you’ll have a blast.

Retro gamer collector's corner:

Megatech had released two versions of this game, an NR-13 and NR-18 version, just like in Germany where a USK 12 and the USK 16 version has been released. A CD-ROM "full talkie" version was also produced.

I loved it many, many years ago. Didn't care for hentai pics (even in those days when you couldn't easily find troves like you can today), I liked the gameplay and humor.
