Populous 2: Trials of the Olympian Gods

Populous 2: Trials of the Olympian Gods was an old DOS sandbox strategy god-game set in ancient Greece. Populous 2 was developed by Bullfrog, designed by the well known Peter Molyneux and published by Electronic Arts in 1993. It was the sequel to the acclaimed Populous.

What they thought about it

"If I have to be completely honest, I didn't enjoy much the first Populous. The concept was great, but the inevitable armageddon bell ended every game too soon. Populous 2, on the other hand, allowed me to take everything easier, plan ahead (sometimes) and it felt more like a simulation. I don't know if Populous 2 was the perfect god-game, but certainly was a great game to me." - Abandonware DOS
