Collectible Card Games (CCG) is a genre popularized by the well known Magic The Gathering. After MTG, many others tried to emulate the same explosive success with mixed results. A video game version of collectible card games was inevitable. CCGs are a little younger than DOS abandonware games, that's why it's not easy to find really old collectible card digital games.
