The most downloaded games on Abandonware DOS are a mix of Windows and DOS games still available for download but (usually) not for sale on sites like GOG or Steam. While the "best" charts take into account the ratings you and I gave to every game on Abandonware DOS, the most downloaded list clearly shows which games are really the most sought after for download.
The most downloaded games are ordered according to number of downloads. Once in a while I reset that number to ensure every game gets the chance to end up in this chart.
For obvious reasons protected games (games still sold on sites like GOG or Steam) are excluded from this chart.
