  Documentation for AVOID THE NOID

   AVOID THE NOID was created by Dominoes Pizza to advertise their  pizza,
   and service.  We hope that you enjoy playing this game as  much  as  we
   enjoyed making it.  AVOID THE NOID works with graphic systems  such  as
   CGA.  Digitized sound effects were added to magnify the enjoyability of
   the game (these sounds, as well as the background music  can  be  heard
   through your PC/XT/AT and  TANDY  internal  speaker,  and  no  external
   sound device is required).  AVOID THE NOID requires 320K bytes of  RAM,
   and no external device (other then  a  keyboard  and  CGA  monitor)  is
   required either, yet joystick control is fully supported.

   Storyline:  You have just been sent out to  deliver  a  pizza  to  Doom
   Industries.  As a Dominoes Pizza delivery boy, you must reach  the  top
   of the building, while  avoiding  the  "Noid"  (Dominoes  "clay-mation"
   character).  Your goal must be accomplished within 30 minutes,  or  the
   customer gets a discount, and you lose your job.

   Controls:  To play AVOID THE NOID, you must know the following keyboard
   commands...

            Up Arrow    - Makes delivery boy jump.
            Left Arrow  - Move left faster
            Right Arrow - Move left faster
            ENTER       - Open doors, answer phones, etc.
            ALT - X     - Exit to DOS system.
            F1          - Help with extra commands.

   Game Play:  Avoid the Noid by "jumping" over him and all of his  traps,
   or he'll stomp your pizza flat, thus loosing a delivery boy.  Once  all
   delivery boys have been fired, the game is over,  and  the  Noid  wins!
   Watch for trapdoors and booby traps that the  Noid  has  set  for  your
   destruction (actually, he doesn't want to hurt you, just the pizza!).

   To play AVOID THE NOID, simply type NOID at your DOS prompt:

      C:\GAMES\ARCADE\NOID>noid    <=== or any directory you choose

      ^          ^           ^
      |          |            \_____
      |__ Drive  |__ Directory      \__ You type


   Remember the objective:  Get that pizza  delivered  to  the  TOP  FLOOR
   within 30 minutes.  So  don't  let  any  of  the  Noid's  little  traps
   distract your progress.
