What was Home of the Underdogs?

You may have heard about it, Home of the Underdogs was one of the best Abandonware sites out there. Actually, HotU was a site dedicated to all those games that deserved attention but never quite got it (hence the name "Underdogs"). It didn't matter if the game was "abandoned" or not, but the vast majority of games on HotU were not recent games and most of them were not even on the digital video game market.

Unfortunately, the person behind HotU (Sarinee Achavanuntakul) stopped maintaining it and the site quickly disappeared (apparently, the domain expired and some web squatter occupied the domain). There are still some HotU clones, but none of them equal the original.
