Remake of the month: Midwinter

SNOW-WOLF-03.jpg
Midwinter was a strange but very appealing game designed back in 1989 by Mike Singleton, who unfortunately passed away in 2012. It boasted something you didn't see often in games at the time: 1st person perspective, 3d graphics and an open world to explore. Midwinter sold well for Amiga and Atari ST and was also released for DOS.
Now, some of the original Midwinter programmers, with support from members of the Singleton family, are developing a remake of that great game. At this time Midwinter is still in alpha, but I really hope it will not turn into another vaporware.
