Recently, I started digging into the zip files of every games in search for useful readme files. Many of you may not know what a readme file is. Developers used to include a txt files usually called "readme.txt" in older games or applications, in a time before the birth of the internet. Readme files included last minute fixes to already printed manuals (printed on PAPER!), installation instructions, etc.
Here are some manuals:
- Terminal Terror
 - SimCity Classic
 - Caesar
 - War in Middle Earth
 - Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2
 - Balance of Power

Here's a few readme files:
- Dungeon Master 2 readme
 - Albion readme
 - Heretic readme file
 - Star Trek Starfleet Command readme
 - Warcraft readme

And, finally, a few walkthroughs:
