Indiana Jones and the Last Videogame
One of the earliest games featuring the character was "Indiana Jones in the Lost Kingdom" (1984) for the Commodore 64, a platformer based on the original film. However, it was "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure" (1989) by Lucasfilm Games that truly captured gamers' attention. This classic game closely followed the plot of the movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and quickly became one of the most beloved point & click adventures.
Another standout title is "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" (1992), also from LucasArts. This point-and-click adventure game introduced an original story, allowing players to embark on a globe-spanning mission to uncover the mysteries of Atlantis, independent of the film series (someone is still pondering why no one drew inspiration from this game for an Indiana Jones movie).
Here's a list of Indiana Jones games on Abandonware DOS.
- Indiana Jones: Revenge of the Ancients
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
- Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: the Action Game
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
- Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
- Indiana Jones and his Desktop Adventures
While many other Indiana Jones games have been released on various platforms, including mobile devices, these few titles remain some of the most iconic and influential in the franchise's history.
