Released in 1988, Leisure Suit Larry 2: Goes Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places) sends Larry into an increasingly outrageous international adventure filled with spies, tropical islands, and enough improbable situations to exhaust an action movie hero. The puzzles become more ambitious while the humor remains delightfully self-aware, constantly poking fun at Larry's spectacular inability to stay out of trouble. Every new destination introduces fresh surprises that reward patient exploration and experimentation. Unsurprisingly, Larry continues believing charm alone can solve every problem. Reality, however, remains stubbornly unconvinced.
