Elegant in concept yet famously demanding in execution, Marble Madness asks players to guide a vulnerable marble through twisting obstacle courses filled with hazards determined to knock it into oblivion. Momentum, gravity, and precise control matter far more than speed alone, making every successful descent incredibly satisfying. The isometric perspective gives the game a distinctive appearance while increasing the challenge in clever ways. Even experienced players occasionally discover entirely new methods of falling off the course. Few games have ever convinced people to care so passionately about the wellbeing of a small rolling sphere.
