Synidcate Wars takes everything its predecessor did and dials it up to an almost reckless degree, swapping the isometric restraint for full 3D chaos and giving you even more ways to accidentally level a city. This time, you’re caught between rival factions, which is just a polite way of saying everyone wants you dead. The tone is darker, the weapons are louder, and the collateral damage is practically a gameplay feature. There’s something deeply entertaining about watching your carefully planned mission spiral into a riot of explosions and panicked civilians. It’s less subtle than the original, sure, but subtlety is overrated when you have access to a Gauss gun and a questionable moral compass.
