Zeliard is a fantasy platformer/RPG hybrid that has all the trappings of a classic quest: a brave knight, an evil demon, a princess in distress, and an unreasonable number of bats. With charming pixel art and a hauntingly catchy soundtrack, it blends labyrinthine dungeons with town-hopping and item collection. It’s tough, no doubt — expect to get lost, die repeatedly, and question your choices — but the sense of progress is real. Think of it as Metroidvania before Metroidvania was a thing, but with more grinding and 100% more magical talking walls.
