Planetfall is an interactive fiction sci-fie game released in 1983 by Infocom, written by Steve Meretzky. It is often considered one of Infocom's best titles. You play as a low-ranking Ensign Seventh Class in the Stellar Patrol, stuck doing menial janitorial tasks aboard the starship Featherstone. However, after an emergency escape pod launch, you find yourself stranded on a mysterious abandoned planet called Resida. Your main objective is to survive and ultimately discover what happened to the planet's inhabitants.
