If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be a skyscraper-sized menace with a grudge against architecture, Rampage gives you the keys to that very peculiar dream. You pick a monster—gorilla, lizard, or werewolf—then proceed to punch, kick, and generally vandalize entire city blocks like an overgrown toddler with unresolved issues. The DOS port isn’t as flashy as the arcade original, but the destructive charm survives intact. There’s something oddly therapeutic about tearing down buildings while ignoring tanks, helicopters, and every conceivable attempt to stop you. It’s simple, it’s chaotic, and it’s the closest you’ll ever get to filing a complaint directly with the skyline.
