Based on the Tom Clancy-inspired novel, Team Yankee puts you in charge of a tank platoon during World War III. It’s the Cold War gone hot, and you’re the unlucky commander trying to stop the Soviets with pixelated armor and strategy. The game mixes tactics, tension, and explosions into a surprisingly cerebral experience. One bad move and your tanks are smoking ruins. One good one and you’re a Cold War hero. It’s grim, grey, and wonderfully grounded—military realism on a 16-color budget.
