Part strategy, part fantasy empire builder, Realms gives you a continent to wrangle and a surprising number of ways to embarrass yourself. You recruit armies, juggle rebellious populations, dabble in diplomacy, and occasionally discover that your neighbors have absolutely no sense of proportion. Battles are quick and satisfyingly chaotic, while the management layer keeps you thinking long after you’ve closed the game. It doesn’t pretend to be a grand historical simulation; it’s more like a scrappy fantasy brawler with enough depth to hook you. If you enjoy seeing your brilliant plans crumble due to one tiny oversight, welcome home.
