Who is Jeff Minter?

Jeff Minter is a British video game designer and programmer known for his distinctive and often psychedelic game creations. He gained prominence in the 1980s with his company, Llamasoft, and his quirky and innovative games for various platforms, including the Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit computers, and later, consoles like the Atari Jaguar and modern platforms.

Minter is perhaps best known for his game Tempest 2000, a critically acclaimed remake of the classic arcade game Tempest released for the Atari Jaguar in 1994. Tempest 2000 was praised for its fast-paced gameplay, vibrant visuals, and techno soundtrack, and it remains one of Minter's most beloved creations.
