Ron Gilbert

Ron Gilbert is a prominent figure in the video game industry, best known for his work as a game designer and programmer. He is particularly celebrated for his contributions to the adventure game genre. Gilbert co-founded Lucasfilm Games (later LucasArts) in 1984, where he worked on several influential titles.

One of Gilbert's most famous creations is the "Monkey Island" series, which he co-designed and co-wrote. Gilbert's other notable works include "Maniac Mansion", "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure", and "The Secret of Monkey Island".
