David Jones

David Jones is a British video game developer and entrepreneur who has had a significant impact on the gaming industry. He is perhaps best known as the creator of the "Grand Theft Auto" (GTA) series, one of the most successful and influential franchises in gaming history.

Jones co-founded DMA Design in 1988, which later became Rockstar North. It was under his leadership that DMA Design developed the original "Grand Theft Auto" game, released in 1997. This game laid the foundation for the open-world action-adventure genre and spawned a highly successful series that continues to be popular to this day.
