Dark Ages Volume I - Prince of Destiny

Dark Ages Volume I: Prince of Destiny introduces you to the world of Agroth, where magic, monsters, and your questionable combat skills collide. You play as a hero destined to save the land, though at first you’ll probably just die in a pit because you missed a jump. The platforming is stiff, the music is gloriously medieval (read: beepy PC speaker charm), and the story is delightfully earnest. If you can forgive the clunky controls, you’ll discover a strangely captivating adventure that’s equal parts frustration and fun. It’s the kind of game where you yell at it… then keep playing anyway.
