If Dizzy was an egg on an adventure, Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk turns that concept up a notch with a proper fairytale plot. Released in 1993 for DOS, the game sees Dizzy set out to rescue his beloved Daisy from the evil wizard Zaks. It’s the same blend of puzzle-solving and precision jumping, but with a little more polish and whimsy. You’ll juggle objects, solve quirky riddles, and curse every time Dizzy topples into a pit because eggs, as it turns out, are not great at platforming. Still, the game oozes charm, and the pun-filled dialogue never fails to crack a smile.
