Mortal Pong

Mortal Pong takes the simplest possible tennis-inspired game and gives it an absurdly dramatic fighting-game twist. The result is exactly as strange as the title suggests: players engage in Pong-style competition while the presentation borrows heavily from the exaggerated world of martial arts and arcade combat. The basic mechanics remain wonderfully simple, but the ridiculous premise gives every match an extra layer of entertainment. It is not the most complicated game ever created, and that is precisely the point. Sometimes Pong just needs more violence, more attitude, and considerably less restraint.
