Sango Fighter

Sango Fighter is a 1993 fighting game inspired by the historical Three Kingdoms period of China, transforming famous generals and warriors into combatants for one-on-one battles. Players can choose from a colorful roster of fighters, each with different attacks and special moves, then face opponents through a series of increasingly difficult matches. The historical setting gives the game a distinctive identity, even though the characters are considerably more interested in punching each other than discussing military strategy. Combat is fast and accessible, with spectacular moves providing plenty of arcade-style excitement. Sango Fighter has a charmingly eccentric personality, particularly when legendary historical figures start behaving like tournament champions.
