Snood

Snood is a charming puzzle game built around matching colorful creatures and clearing them from the screen before things get out of hand. Released in 1996, it looks deceptively simple, but the progressively trickier layouts and limited shooting angles can make a supposedly relaxing session surprisingly competitive. The basic idea is to launch Snoods toward groups of matching characters, causing them to disappear when enough are connected. Missed shots remain on the board, gradually creating a rather unfortunate ceiling of accumulated mistakes.
