Super Tetris

Super Tetris takes the familiar falling-block puzzle formula and gives it a slightly expanded treatment, challenging players to arrange shapes efficiently before the playfield becomes an architectural disaster. The rules are simple enough to understand instantly, yet the difficulty rises rapidly as pieces fall faster and available space disappears. Good play requires planning several moves ahead, recognizing useful patterns, and occasionally accepting that the perfect arrangement is no longer possible. The appeal comes from that wonderful combination of simplicity and pressure: you know exactly what needs to be done, but your hands and brain may disagree about how quickly it should happen. Super Tetris is ideal for short sessions that mysteriously become much longer than intended. There are no elaborate characters or complicated storylines to distract from the central challenge. Just shapes, gaps, and the eternal hope that the next piece will be exactly what you need. Naturally, it usually arrives about three seconds after you stop needing it.
