Virtua Cop

Virtua Cop is a light-gun arcade game released by Sega in 1994, developed by the Sega AM2 division (also known for games like Virtua Fighter). It was a pioneering title in the genre, offering a fully 3D shooter experience with polygonal graphics. In Virtua Cop, players assume the roles of detectives James Cools and Michael Hardy, part of a special police unit tasked with taking down a criminal organization. The game’s mechanics involve using a light gun or controller to shoot criminals while avoiding innocent civilians.

Computer and Video Games (1996): "As for lastability, this is such an awesome experience, you'll come back to it again and again. And besides, there's plenty of hidden extras in there, including a mirror mode!"
