Abandonware DOS title

Zoo Tycoon

Ever dreamed of running your own zoo without needing a shovel for elephant poop? Zoo Tycoon lets you do exactly that. Build the ultimate animal empire - until the lions escape, the penguins riot, and your guests storm out because the hot dog stand is too far from the Komodo dragons. It’s a delightful mix of capitalism and conservation, where your main rival isn’t another tycoon, but the mysterious, ever-angry message: “This animal is unhappy.” A strategy game where even the food stalls have stats, and your ability to micromanage flamingos could determine your legacy.

Thank you so much! I ended up just not using D-Fend and was able to just go through the files and install it through the files just fine it turns out. Haha! My computer was able to handle it after all. I've been having quite a blast enjoying this game since my previous message as I forgot to update it after I managed to install.

@Orden, Zoo Tycoon is a Windows game, so D-Fend reloaded is no good (it's needed for DOS games). Here's a short guide about running old games for Windows on modern systems, I hope this helps!  Also, here's some info to mount an ISO image.

Hey there, downloaded the D-Fend Reloaded program to run this game, Zoo Tycoon, from this site. However, when I dropped the zip file into the window of the program as per directions, it declared it was a windows file and couldn't run this file. Is there something I might have not done properly in order for it to run correctly?
