Witchaven is an abandoned fantasy first-person shooter (or "slasher", since you'll wield melee weapons) developed by Capstone and released by IntraCorp in 1995 for DOS and Windows. Witchaven includes RPG elements such as experience and leveling your character but it's primarily an action game with swords and spells.

Powermonger is a real time strategy game where the player must defeat the opponents by conquering towns and tipping the balance of power in his/her favor. This is done by giving orders to soldiers and captains and by accumulating enough resources (food and equipment) to survive and ultimately win.

Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn is a party-based real-time with pause CRPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe that shares the same gameplay as the sequel: the much acclaimed Baldur's Gate. Shadows of Amn was developed by BioWare and released by Black Isle Studios in 2000 for PC (Windows) and Mac.

Lords of the Realm is top-down kingdom simulation game set in medieval Europe (England and Germany), designed by Christopher J. Foster and David Lester, developed by Impressions Games and released 1994 for DOS, Windows and Amiga.
