Games set in the Marvel Comics universe

When it comes to comic books featuring superheroes (but not only), there are two publishers that surpass all others in terms of magnitude: one of them is Marvel. Marvel Comics is known for characters like Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Avengers, just to name a few. Even though none of Marvel’s blockbuster films had been released yet back when video games weren’t considered retro, these superheroes were already very popular, and several software companies didn’t miss the chance to create a number of video games based on them.
