Robotron 2084 is a 1983 DOS adaptation of the legendary arcade shooter, throwing players into frantic battles against overwhelming waves of hostile robots. The objective is brutally simple: survive. Enemies approach from every direction, while the player must move continuously, aim accurately, rescue civilians, and avoid being surrounded. The game's twin-stick style is difficult to reproduce perfectly on a keyboard, but its frantic spirit remains intact. Robotron 2084 is one of those games where the screen can look manageable for a few seconds before suddenly becoming a mechanical nightmare. Quick reactions are essential, but smart movement matters just as much. There is no elaborate storyline to distract you from the problem at hand.
