In Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist, Sierra took the Wild West and decided it needed more jokes, more puns, and significantly more medical malpractice. Released in 1993, this point-and-click adventure puts you in the boots of a former gunslinger turned pharmacist, which is already a strong narrative hook. Instead of shooting bandits, you mix tonics, diagnose absurd ailments, and deal with townsfolk who seem determined to test your patience. The humor is relentless, the puzzles are classic Sierra logic (take that as a warning), and the voice acting adds a surprising amount of charm. It’s a game that doesn’t rush you, preferring to win you over with wit, personality, and the occasional groan-worthy joke.
