Despite its familiar title, Mario and Luigi for DOS offers a very different experience from Nintendo's famous adventures. Created outside the official series, it delivers straightforward platform action inspired by classic mechanics while introducing its own interpretation of the well-known brothers. Levels feature enemies, jumps, and collectible items that will feel comfortably familiar to fans of arcade platformers. It may never rival the polished console originals, but curiosity alone makes it an interesting historical footnote. Besides, seeing legendary plumbers unexpectedly appear on DOS always raises at least one amused eyebrow.
