American McGee

Who is American McGee?

American McGee is a video game designer and programmer known for his work on several notable video games. He gained recognition for his work as a level designer on the popular first-person shooter game Doom and its sequel Doom II: Hell on Earth developed by id Software.

However, he is perhaps best known for his work as the lead designer on American McGee's Alice, a dark and twisted adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This game was released in 2000 and received critical acclaim for its unique art style and dark narrative. McGee has also worked on other projects such as Alice: Madness Returns and Grimm.
