Simon the Sorcerer is adventure game designed by Simon Woodroffe, developed and published by Adventure Soft and released in 1993. Often overlooked, Simon The Sorcerer is one of the finest point & click adventure games ever designed for DOS. In an era dominated by LucasFilm Games (later renamed LucasArts) and Sierra, Adventure Soft (the guys behind Waxworks and The Feeble Files) managed to produce a really enjoyable and funny adventure.
It's actually designed by Mike Woodruffe, Simon's father. Simon wrote the story.

Also released on multiple floppy disks for the Amiga; a CD version was also released for Amiga's with add-on CDROM drives, and the CD32.

@Becks, you're right: I fixed the game info changing DOS into Windows, just for clarity

The GOG version is not for MS-DOS, and not playable on retro systems without way too much hassle.
